Renshuu.org - Study Japanese Online

I want to encourage everyone to donate to the Japanese Red Cross to help support the reconstruction efforts in Japan, but I realize that's hard(er) to do if I'm hoping you'll buy renshuu pro.

So, make a 1000yen (or more) donation, and I'll give you a free voucher in your account for 3 months of renshuu pro.

How to do it?
1. Go to google's crisis response page, and use the form at the top to make a donation.

2. After you donate, you'll get an email receipt detailing the donation. Forward that receipt to me (michael@renshuu.org), along with your renshuu username, and I'll give you your free time (for use whenever you want). (Feel free to remove the line in the email with the last 4 digits of the CC number)

It's the absolutely very very least I can do.

I'm trying to minimize my luggage when I hopefully go next week so I can pack my suitcase with whatever I think will help those I know in the area I'm going to.

Does it have to be red cross? There are other charities listed on that link. I personally prefer "Save the children"

you guys are all fantastic! Thank you Michael for giving this incentive, and thanks to all who have donated already! And for those who haven't, please do consider it - there are a lot of people in desperate need with no electricity, heat (and it's still very cold in Tohoku - it was -6 C on Thursday!), running water, gas, or food. Literally everything is sin short supply, so every donation really can make a difference.
