Renshuu.org - Study Japanese Online

Two things: 1 - renshuu.org works great on Kindle, which is great especially if you have the 3G version because you can practise even anywhere abroad without paying for mobile internet. 2 - I wonder if it were possible to switch off katakana vocabulary with long syllables or apostrophe in mobile version because on Kindle, it is too much trouble to type suki-

What non-alpha characters are easily accessible on the Kindle? It would be troublesome to remove those terms from the quizzes, but it would be much easier to make it (this is just an arbitrary example) so suki- could be entered with suki* or suki%.

The only non-alpha char on the keyboard is full stop (period). Everything else is selected from a pop-up menu using 4-way controller.

Let me work on it a bit, and I will let you know when I get something working.

speaking of using Renshuu on the kindle... is there any way to save quiz settings differently on the mobile site as opposed to the PC version? For example, I can't do any clicking and dragging on my kindle so I don't want to have those question types when I'm quizzing there, but do like having them in normal quizzes (and yes I know I can change the quiz types each time, but that's a pain)...

The use of a period for the katakana dash mark is now allowed on the mobile version of the site!
