Genki Point Projects
The grammar library
The grammar library is a highly interactive library for learning and practicing grammar. Its contents are built by the users, so there are a large number of ways to get genki points.
Practice activities:
Writing an sentence - 5-15 points (+3 bonus points if it is your first sentence for that grammar expression).
Commenting on another user's sentence - 1-4 points.
Discussion about a grammar expression - 1-4 points (+5 bonus points if you help improve the info for that grammar point)
Contributions to the library (new):
Similar grammar - 2 points for suggesting links between related grammar (in the Quick Info box).
Politeness markers - 2 points for helping mark the politeness levels of the grammar points (in the Quick Info box).
Usage notes - 2+ points for adding helpful notes for using the grammar (special cases, exceptions, etc). Bonus points gained when other users mark your usage note(s) as helpful.
Grammar advisers (new):
Grammar advisers are users who have opted to help other users on specific grammar points. Simply choose to become a grammar adviser for a few grammar points that you feel comfortable using, and get extra points for keeping an eye on new sentences and user requests for reviewing their sentences.
