In the first sentence, I think using is a good choice.

is used to indicate an unexpected sudden event occurs at a time that you do not expected or wanted. For example, while I'm on a date, I meet my mother. デートのった。

Yea, I'm going to go with KTL on this one. I know this because I originally wrote the sentence without , and then I had it corrected for me (by a native speaker): this involved the being brought in, so I'm going to say it's correct :)

According to Tobira, す has 2 meanings.. the other one being: Someone makes something available/accessible which hasn't exsisted or hasn't been available or accessible. ex's given: す(to create), つけす(to find out), す(to dig up). Should this be added?
