* I'm too lazy to type all the words, so I simply scanned the index page.
This vocabulary list cover only a 1000 words, which is 50% of the official list. Nevertheless, it's a good start.

Edit: corrected number 44 to ところへ / ところに (without the particle た).

Sweet! What's the deal with that source? I thought they weren't giving out this info. Do you have a vocab list as well?

They aren't; this is an estimated list by one of the main makers of JLPT reference/textbook materials.

They aren’t going to publish the list to the world anymore, but the list is send to publishers, so they can produce books based on it. In other words, all you need is to get the mock test/reading/listening books by Unicom, mark all the words in it, and you’ve got the words you need to pass N3. Same goes for grammar points (the one I posted above).

While that may be true - I'll probably hold out until we can confirm from at least 2 different resources before updating the indices on the site :)

For N1, the list stays the same, but more advanced materials from that list will be tested on, I think.

That's awesome, thanks mireille! I don't suppose it mentions which kanji will be on the test, does it?

Looking forward to it.   ;)

Sadly, no. But you could visit this website: Tanos. I'm not sure how accurate that Kanji list is, but it's at least a good start. I also recommend getting the N3 mock test.

if wanted ill put the isbn so you can track it down.
