Mark as Correct

I don't understand what the "Mark as Correct" function does. It doesn't prevent the mastery from going down or from the term coming back up in missed terms or function as a "Problem with this answer." It does not in fact appear to mark the term at all, as far as I can tell. Can someone tell me what it means?

For me, the first two things you say it doesn't do, are exactly what it does...cancels the drop in mastery level and re-adds the question to the review terms at the end of the quiz. If that's not happening for you I suspect something is wrong...

If functioning correctly, it will reset the term as if it wasn't just answered, and it'll reappear for questioning at the end of the quiz (mixed with other terms that you missed). I haven't had any other reports of it malfunctioning, nor have I seen any error reports generated by the site.

If you could, keep an eye on it and let me know if you continue to see a problem. If so, I'll definitely try and look into it.
