I appreciate this popup, but once I get it I would like the default option to be to keep getting the popup while I still have new terms and not as it appears not. It only warns me the first time of the day and then defaults to give a warning again tomorrow and if I then click the schedule again by mistake (forgetting I have unstudied terms) I proceed.
Furthermore as mentioned it feels like it also blocks me from reviewing old grammar points making that pile grow while there are unstudied words. Ideally then the warning should look one level above on vocab to ensure that current level is finished up before moving on.

I'm not sure if its a setting you have on your schedule that might do that, but if not, no. You're not prevented from reviewing the material in the schedule to redo them. The three-dot menu on the main page (or gear icon in the schedule) has the review button for when you want a review instead of the one in waiting.
One thing I've noticed is that I'm on the adventure with Kao-chan, and I get far more grammar quests than vocabulary ones. I don't see any way to change the frequency (other than disabling entirely!), and it is frustrating when there's just far, far more vocabulary and the grammar wants me to work on my vocab first, but Kao-chan is apparently obsessed with grammar. Today for example, kao-chan wants 40 correct grammar and 2 new sentences. But I have 200 vocab waiting till my next grammar lesson and almost no grammar review in my schedule to work on. Kao-chan should really push vocab more!
There is not anything internal to preference one or the other, but I'll keep that in mind. Are you referring to the kao garden quests, or the daily challenges that appear on the dashboard? I'm guessing the latter, but I wanted to make sure.
