Although Renshuu offers the option to set desktop and mobile settings separately, I’ve found that the dark mode selection doesn’t work as intended—any change affects all devices . I use a laptop for desktop access and an e-ink device for mobile use. Dark mode works perfectly for the laptop, but it is hard to read on the e-ink device. I hope the mode settings can be separated for different devices. Thanks！
The desktop/mobile "separation" setting is mainly for quiz options, and not site-wide settings. I need to be clearer with that, and I'll try to update the wording in the future.
That being said, I hope to get it closer to what you're looking for in the future, but there is not a way to do it quite yet.
I can give you workaround: copy Renshuu’s dark theme stylesheet into an extension like Stylus and force it on desktop. Just leave the site's dark mode setting turned off—that way your laptop will always be dark, while your other devices can stay in light mode.
I tested it and it seems to work fine. Obviously not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
