And while I'm on display issues, this is what I see at the top of the typing area while typing, so I cannot open the dictionary. This is a mise en abyme.
Should be better now. You probably already noticed it, but the search setting dropdowns for the dictionaries all have little x's as well for closing.
Yes, I noticed the dictionary button is now available while typing a message, thanks, that was annoying.
And I did nitice the x's too.
But the problem remains about introducing known words. "Well" gets underlined, but the word remains (both browsers.
Still can't reproduce it. OK, I put a lot of low level logging in place. Crack open that console.re page I sent you via email, and next time you try it, show me what comes up on there. (You can safely post the results here (except for the top line with the name of the channel)
Any attempt to indicate the second word of any slot as known (a bit, well, or very well) gives these 4 lines. I hope this helps.
Same thing from Firefox. 2 clicks, 8 lines:
I just realized the lines were not complete! Better?
Looks like it is marking the term as well known, but not swapping them out. Let me add some more, please re-report.
