Seems to me, that not all the possible parts for the mnemonic are accessible. Looks like there should be (at least) one more option, but that one is covered up and I cannot scroll down. Also in the process of writing, the text input box gets pushed up and covers the part at the bottom of the list. Scrolling is not possible. Closing the keyboard reverses that, but it's kinda inconvenient, I guess. (Chrome on Android)
You probably already tried this, but just to confirm (not suggesting this as a solution), if you put your finger on the "(click to add to mnemonic)" area (not the buttons)and try to drag up, any effect?
So, my mini feature is now up!You should see it immediately - if you add color to the mnemonics (by marking the parts), the site will attempt to color that part of the kanji!
That being said, parsing the datafile that has all this in it was extremely tricky, and so please let me know if you see any mnemonics where the colors do not correspond to the kanji (for example, part of the kanji is not colored, but should be.
任 is fixed.滴鼻 are not working because those mnemonics include parts not in the original list, so renshuu does not know which strokes to bound them to.This will be fixable when Iadd a tool to let you say what strokes match up with user-added parts. In the meanwhile, Iwill have it *not* create the image if it cannot match all of the given pieces.
吠 - not working because there is a couple of characters separating the colored word from the piece. At some point, I'll have it report back better messages. 筆 - fixed、 薬 - similar to草, fix coming soon 机 - fixed、 枝 - fixed 草 - the uncolored piece is suggested by renshuu, but not actually in the data file. So it'll have to be marked manually (coming soon)、 花 - same as above、 桜 - fixed. It also had an issue where there was characters between the () and the piece、 暗 - ugh, this is going to be tricky. 識 - working on this
吠 - fixed, and added a bit of flexibility in how it handles extra characters. 薬 - fixed 草 - fixed 花 - fixed 暗 - not yet 識 - fixed? So, it colors it in order of what appears in the sentence. So, the "clearly"(yellow) gets entirely overwritten by the following two pieces. 楳、- Idon't see a mnemonic? 種、 秒、 茸、- fixed 苦、- Isee no mnemonic 安 - you had forgotten to add the piece for woman. Added it, works now 果 - fixed 、都 、話 - same issue as暗
楳、苦 are private because they're kinda unfinished. I'll look into my mnemonics when I have time to access my pc again. It's a bit inconvenient to do with my phone.
Gotcha. I've got 3-4 more that should be fixed once the database finishes rebuilding. After that, there is a significant chance that these fixes will fix one or both of those as well.
