I've started implementing some of the changes to the motivational systems based on feedback from the recent survey.

Currently available

Motivations tab in Settings. Can (also) disable challenges in there, as well as kao coins.

Disable achievements setting

Toggle/untoggle specific categories of challenges

Remove gacha system for kao coins (setting) for those who just want to see it quickly without the clicking.


The big system that is replacing genki points and blending in challenges/manga will most likely not make it in this beta.

Is this working already?

I disabled grammar in the motivational settings, but still the daily challenge wants me to "study 2 new grammar terms".

That one particular challenge was mismarked in the kanji category! Just fixed it, should not appear again.
