As I understand it, quiz vocabulary gets furigana based on whether the component kanji is known or unknown. This leads to situations where the furigana is displayed only on some of the characters.
As above, 年 is known, but I don't know the word 年齢, or that it is read ねんれい. There is of course the definition/reading below the sentence, but reading this is cumbersome. And as for me, I really don't care about individual kanji, I learn them in word-context.
What I would like is to be able to display furigana based on whether or not the word is known, rather than the component kanji.
