Sorry, I think I remember there is a thread for vocab images but I always fail to find it... x_x I wanted to suggest removing this image for 捕まえる because on jisho it says: to grab; to clutch; to grasp; to seize; to hold on toOnly applies to 捉まえる, Only applies to 掴まえる
This vocab has two images. If you don't like this one, just hit "add picture" and use the arrows to mark them as useful or useless. When a pic has enough down votes it will be removed eventually, I believe.
No problem. In other words, can you find any Japanese media or webpage that is talking about baseball and uses kanji for the word in question? If we can find that, it'll be easier to confirm if the picture is accurate
I couldn't find it, but I'm also not great at google searches :\ What I did found is this, on the 大辞泉 dictionary at this link it has 捕まえる/×掴まえる/▽捉まえる on top, meaning that the page applies to those 3, but then the entry number 2 has this:
that （掴まえる・捉まえる）is narrowing it down to only those 2 writings (same for the 大辞林 dictionary which I checked as well!), which is in line with what jisho says with "Only applies to 捉まえる, Only applies to 掴まえる"
