Yes, auto check works perfectly.

I think that in the default mode we have to finish the crossword so that it can can be validated. That explains why there is black characters when I play.

I have seen that there is a validation when I quit the game and restart it. I hope that it's not the only way to validate. I will discover that when I will have finished my second board - but I still miss vocabulary for that lol ;)
