When I clicked the "beginner sentences (N5)", it gave an error message saying "sorry, an error has occurred on the site". It has done this many times, and I don't know how to fix it.

OK, this time I could do it. Do you know what the issue was?
It had to do with the options chosen for the study mode, and the system not reacting correctly when those changed. So, nothing really on your end :)
