I looked at my permanent study quests and saw that my steak studying Vocabulary has been broken. I've never missed a day, but it says I've only done 25 days in a row. Same with Kanji, I've never missed a day. And I haven't missed a day studying grammer in at least 6 weeks, if not longer.
Before I dig in any deeper, is it possible that you studied, but not enough to hit the streak mark? The actual numbers are listed on the Stats page of the dashboard, but it is somewhere around 25ish terms per day for it to be counted (although this may need adjusting, as it isn't fair to punish someone for not having enough in their schedules to hit that mark for any given day).
There was one day like that for Vocabulary, but it was around two months ago, during my first month on Renshuu. When I saw it didn't count, I made a point to do more each day. There's no way I'd do that for grammar because I always study everything on the schedule, and that's 30+ terms. For Vocab and Kanji, I study the last 30 days of terms, and both should be over 25.
Thanks again for the info. So, I checked out the raw data. The (as of now) minimum for vocab was 40, not 25. Because of that, there was a lapse 27(ish) days ago when you only did 25.
That being said, I feel these are too high, and I'm going to reset them down to 20 for kanji and vocab, then rerun the numbers for your account!

I have noted that previously it was 40 vocab, 25 kanji, 20 grammar and 20 sentences in order to qualify for the daily streak. Does this mean that vocab, kanji, grammar and sentences all are set to 20 correct questions to qualify for the daily streak now?
Reducing the minimum terms required for the streak never fixed my study streaks. In the same vein, I'm having issues with a tree that is connected to a study schedule. It has failed to give me credit for studying for three days now and I'm doing at least 38 terms a day.
This also keeps happening almost every time I try to make a post here. It looks like I added a whole bunch of unnecessary empty lines to the bottom of the post but it does it by itself. The last several times I've tried to post there have been so many issues I gave up. It spreads out the words so that there are individual letters on each line or the whole thing get highlighted and deleted. It took me three tries to finish the previous post.
1. Regarding the extra space issue, it seems to be affecting a small number of people, but I have seen it happen here and there. If you can reliably reproduce the issue, I would love a very clear set of steps to recreate it. This would include all taps and keystrokes. The device and/or browser would also be required :)
2. Which schedule is the tree attached to?
3. For the streaks, I just reran the data, and also will DM you the raw data so you can see where the numbers are coming from :)
Thank you. I'm using the app on my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. I click on the text box, and begin to write the post in it. The problem usually starts when I finish the post and go to correct any typos or add a clarification in an earlier sentence.

The tree is attached to my grammar and sentence schedule. It still hasn't given me credit for the last 4 days.
Thanks for both responses. Unfortunately, I will need an exact set of steps. For example:
1. In text field, type "I went to the store."
2. Tap the screen just after "went"
3. Press delete two times
4. problem appears
This is only happening to an extremely small number of users, so it is very likely tied to something specific with the way that you are typing and/or editing :(
For your tree, I'm taking a look at that schedule, and it should be advancing as you said. I put a tracer on it which will report back to me each day and let me know which trees got advanced, and why. We'll see if that will give me some information as to what's causing the issue.
In the meantime, I've added 5 days to the counter for that one.

Thank you, my orange tree now matches the other two fruit trees that I all started at the same time. As for the odd text box errors, after the first sentence, I went back above it to add a space to distinguish it from your quoted post. Immediately afterwards, more lines began adding below the text, with no other edits made. Perhaps next time, I will remember to turn on screen recorder first so you can watch each step.
Yes, it also sometimes happens when I don't quote the post. I just started quoting recently, and this was going on before that. Although I tried to cause it just now and it's not doing it. Have you made any changes already?
I checked my garden again. The tree you added days to before still isn't tracking correctly. It hasn't given credit for the last two days again. I did 38 or 39 grammar questions both days.
I did not make any changes to the the text system, so that's bizarre.
As to the garden, my logging says that it has been catching that tree each day and marking it for growth, so the bug must be elsewhere. I've adjusted the debugging for your account, so give it a couple more days and let me know what you see - hopefully I'll get some more useful info this time around.

Hello again,
I hope you're recovered from the illness you mentioned previously. I just wanted to let you know that my orange tree, tied to my grammar study schedule, has not grown since the 5 days you added before. It has only registered my studying and advanced twice.
Today, I decided to quote your previous message to see if it would add extra lines again, and it definitely did. It started immediately after I hit the enter key once to go down a line.
