I'm Lina from Malaysia. Yoroshiku~
I'm wondering whether there's any easy and catchy Japanese songs that I may use to study the language. If you have any recommendations, do share.

I have listened to a few songs by Kimie Fukuhara san. I first heard her on Midnight Diner on Netflix. She has a wonderful voice and sings in a very bubbly way, sometimes about food ^^.

I stumbled across this one the other day:
「Song For Learning Japanese」- MANA OKADA from 123JAPAN!
It's got the alphabet and some basic greetings and expressions.
I recommend the Simple Songs channel for 日本語. You'll hear a lot of pre-school-age songs you probably already know but in Japanese. Its pretty good listening practice.
(1) This one's my favourite kid's song. There's many versions on yt. 犬のお巡りさん
(2) Second favourite kid's song is 一年生になったら.
(3) でんでん虫の唄 is a funny song for adults with a lot of puns.
That one's genius and actually useful for katakana words. I have a feeling it was the inspiration for Bruno Mars' recent short video:

Thanks for the link. Wow that Mana is really loveable. I didn't know most of that onomatopoeia either.
