Hi~

I'm Lina from Malaysia. Yoroshiku~

I'm wondering whether there's any easy and catchy Japanese songs that I may use to study the language. If you have any recommendations, do share.

Thanks in advance!

おはようございます。

I have listened to a few songs by Kimie Fukuhara san. I first heard her on Midnight Diner on Netflix. She has a wonderful voice and sings in a very bubbly way, sometimes about food ^^.

Ja mata!

I stumbled across this one the other day:

「Song For Learning Japanese」- MANA OKADA from 123JAPAN!

It's got the alphabet and some basic greetings and expressions.

I recommend the Simple Songs channel for . You'll hear a lot of pre-school-age songs you probably already know but in Japanese. Its pretty good listening practice.

That one's genius and actually useful for katakana words. I have a feeling it was the inspiration for Bruno Mars' recent short video:

Thanks for the link. Wow that Mana is really loveable. I didn't know most of that onomatopoeia either.
