Hi there!

I've just begun studying japanese, and, to be honest, I'm really anxious to learn how to write and pronounce certain sentences. So I was wondering if you guys could translate something for me. How would you write, using kanji/kana, "I've found a reason" (as in "I've found a reason to live/fight/etc.")?

I'm quite aware that asking for translations may sound lazy, so, to prove I did do some research, here's what I know:

1) to find = mitsukeru (past indicative = mitsuketa (informal), mitsukemashita (formal)
2) I (personal pronoun) = watashi (contractions: atashi, asshi)
3) つけた (is this correct? if so, is there a better/simpler way to write it?)

Thanks in advance!
I promise not to ask for this kind of favor again! :)

mugenriz,

In the future you can find phrases like this in the ALC Dictionary. That's where I always go to look stuff like this up. Sometimes you have to dig a little deeper or use a different conjugation for example for your sentence, I had to search 'find a reason':

http://eow.alc.co.jp/find+a+reason/UTF-8/

but, you can usually find exactly what you are looking for. The homepage is here:

Useful phrase!
