Hi all, just want to share this fantastic video i came across about ancient japan: The entire history of Ancient Japan. The video tells the story about ancient origin, relations, with neighbouring civilizations.
The history hints at how their language evolved through trade interactions and ancestry. Hints on why some kanji is on-reading and kun-reading. Why it might be that chinese hanzi character's modern meaning today does not match japanese kanji using early old-chinese meaning of the character.
More hints at why Korean sentence patterns are similar with Japanese. Korean question ends with 까 (ka) and japanese questions end with か (ka) too in formal speech.
