I have been using the Renshuu app for less than a year and I really benefited from it. For me, just learning the amount of grammar and words with just 10-15 minutes per day justified lifetime membership, but I didn't even read the benefits of lifetime membership just happy to support because existing features alone were good enough for me.
I don't have a ton of time, half an hour a day is probably the max I can spend studying Japanese. Any advice on the efficient use of pro benefits? What pro features are the most efficient uses of time in your opinion? Thanks for the answer.
Based on your usage, I recommend you enable sentence-based quizzing in one or more of your vocabulary lists. Look under Vocabulary in Context in the pro menu.
You should also experiment with the listening questions, both vocabulary and sentences, to see how that works for you.
Personally, I get the most mileage out of the pro kanji features, all of which I have enabled, but that doesn’t seem to be something you are particularly interested in right now.
Also, be sure to check out the additional crossword puzzles. They are a great way to reinforce vocabulary when flash card drills get too repetitive.

For Vocab:
In the Schedule Options
- turn on Listening Questions vector (It's an extra vector, so it may slow down the rate that terms go up in Mastery. However, I feel that this is one of the best features of Renshuu Pro.)
- turn on use Sentence Questions (tests the same stuff but adds more variety)
For Kanji: (If study Kanji Readings)
In the Schedule Options click on Readings and turn on the various advanced question styles (tests the same stuff but adds more variety)
If you free up more time for your study routine:
Add a sentence schedule and do sentence listening questions.
