I gained a few mastery stars, and I was wondering if it has any specific purpose. Also, I would like to know if there are any effective ways on how to gain them more.
Mastery stars are an older form of mastery percentages that are left over from the old system.
Originally, every mastery vector for a term (for example, kana > meaning) went from level 1 to level 9, with each level being a star. So if you fully mastered a vector, it was stars.
Internally, they are still saved that way, but for easier understanding, they are shown in %s now. level 1 (1 star) = 0%, level 9 (9 stars) = 100%
