Sorry if it’s already been asked before. I’m looking for YouTube channel recommendations:
Not specifically language learning content, rather for native audiences
Average video length: 10-20 minutes
Topics: science explained, culture, literature, history, fashion
What I’m not interested in: vlogs, videos with no speech
Thank you in advance!
It's not you tube, but https://www.nhk.or.jp/school/ has a variety of videos which cover a pretty wide range of topics (which are categorized). Most videos are 10-15 min. They also have transcripts on the videos. However, it's geared for school kids (but it has filters for school year, which ranges from kindergarten to high school), so it might not be what your looking for.
You can follow the link to youtube, then to the creator.
Hope this is relevant.
ことラボ (kotolabo) makes native content about languages!
Even if I don't understand everything I still find it very interesting
If you are into books ほんタメ has been constantly playing for me.
If you are into games or art なつめさんち is really fun and I like their personalities.
If you are into food or cooking きまぐれクック is really interesting and the structure of his videos lend themselves well to language learning: Finding food / Prep food / Eat food/ Recap.
Some honorable but more niche mentions:
If you are into Host culture, The Roland Show is really interesting but a little complicated. Roland is also just really cool too.
If you dig electronic repair channels おじおじジャパン is really cool.
NihongoDekita with Sayaka is half learning and half vlog on Youtube.
