掲示板 Forums - What does the vocab "don't learn" button actually do?

If you use "Don't study" the term will be blocked from appearing in any of your quizzes.

Marking it as know very well will allow it to appear in quizzes, but will set the mastery level high (so it won't appear very often)

To unblock all of them:

Resources -> Japanese Index ->

-> Add words -> My Words -> Add Filter -> About Me -> Don't Study

->Actions -> Known/Study -> Mark all terms as : Can Study ->Confirm

You can also review your blocked terms by clicking on the number of "hidden" terms on your schedule page, and unblock them individually from there.

On these term lists you can also manually adjust the mastery of individual study vectors (by clicking on the mastery percentage for the term on the card), so if you blocked the terms because you already knew the meaning but not the kanji, you could leave the kanji mastery at 0 and raise just the meaning-related mastery.
