I've recently been becoming a massive fan of anime, k-drama ect. I was wondering if any of you have series or films that you really enjoyed and could recommend.

seeing this request made me very excited. i will do my best to make these recs informational. please note that i am primarily a manga reader, but i have still seen the anime for what i am recommending.
my favorite anime series is bungou stray dogs (文豪ストレイドッグス). it's about people with superpowers — except they're all based off of authors, and their powers are based off of one or more of the author's works. for example, osamu dazai wrote "no longer human," and his power in the show is called the same. for an example you may be more familiar with, agatha christie (unfortunately a more minor character) has the power "and then there were none." as a fan of literature and reading in general for as long as i can remember, this series holds a special place in my heart. the anime just finished its fifth season, i believe. the dub is super funny.
for a movie, of course there are the classics such a studio ghibli. i really recommend those. beyond that, i recommend a silent voice (聲の形). it's about a deaf girl and the boy who bullied her in elementary school reuniting and becoming friends.
a few quicker recs since this is longer than i intended it to be:
sk8: the infinity ; a comedy about skateboarding. there's more to it but i'm not sure how to put it briefly.
the disastrous life of saiki k ; about a high schooler with extremely op (overpowered) psychic powers. the fact that he's op is the main comedy bit of the series. it's very funny.
assassination classroom ; a heartfelt series about a group of middle schoolers who have to kill their teacher, who is an alien. it's very sweet, surprisingly.
ouran high school host club ; about a girl who is not rich at all, at a very rich school. she accidentally breaks an expensive vase belonging to the school's host club, and to pay off her debt, she masquerades as a boy and becomes a host. it's very funny.

The interesting thing about anime is that a lot of times the characters use casual speech, so it's not going to be exactly like what you learn (which is normally polite speech). Casual speech is only used with close friends and not something you would use with strangers. However, there are some anime where the characters use polite speech such as My Happy Marriage (a cute, quiet romance involving arranged marriage and a magic side plot), and Violet Evergarden (a war-scarred girl learning what the word 'love' means in its many forms). Both are really good.
Also if you'd like to hear the more rustic accent, Barakamon is a good one (a calligrapher goes to an island to regain inspiration and ends up babysitting the local kids).
Another fun one language-wise (and story-wise) is Natsume Yujin-cho or Natsume's Book of Friends. (A boy inherits an heirloom from his grandmother that causes the local yokai to show up at his house - both friendly and non friendly. Also a squishy cat sensei that's actually wolf spirit stuck in a manekineko.)
i know of other ones that have varying language usages but I can't think of them off the top of my head so I'll just list ones I love and think need more attention:
Children of the Whales (dystopia fantasy), Fruits Basket (romance, mental illness rep), Erased (mystery), Spy X Family (comedy), A Silent Voice, Bungo Stray Dogs, To Your Eternity (fantasy), The Devil is a Part-Timer (comedy isekai), Undead Murder Farce (mystery), and Nichijou (comedy).
