If you have a massive schedule full of terms, you can complete a ton of reviews in a row to gain EXP. I do this whenever I'm feeling impatient and want to evolve my kao faster.
It actually doesn't work this way - there is a daily cap to how many levels you can get, and the speed at which you get XP in quizzing is directly tied to your own study habits. renshuu's goal is to help encourage daily, consistent studying at a level which matches you, so you get the most XP you can each day by doing (roughly) the same number of reviews. So for some people, doing 20 reviews a day will get them a level, while for others, it may be 300.

Oh, I didn't actually know this, thanks for informing me It seems like my daily study habits are in the upper 200s range so I tend to do large quizzes to get XP, but I assume a beginner won't need to review that much content to gain a level.
