eg. I would like to add words for an existing Genki I - Renshuu schedule. I want to add some words that appear in the manual throughout the lesson, however they are not in the official Vocabulary section of the lesson.
I see what you're saying. I typically use the old school approach to making schedules, which doesn't result in these restrictions.
To get the flexibility you're looking for I'd suggest one of the following methods:
1) Go to the lesson center, find the Genki Lesson you want, make a new schedule based on it
-add the additional desired terms to the schedule
(There's a bunch of lessons in the lesson center which contain additional Genki vocab in there, which might contain what you want. You can just add these to the schedule by using the adjust materials on the schedule, or directly through the lesson center)
OR
2) make a separate schedule only containing the additional desired terms
This is a restriction that I hope to wipe out in the future, but basically, the ones that go lesson by lesson don't allow individual terms to be added due to the way they are set up. I should be able to fix this at some point, just not yet.

@マイコー thank you also, exactly this (lesson by lesson) would be the only caveat to the solution Anonymous 123 presented. However if you manage to get through this would be really helpful.
Moreso, in this topic of -lesson by lesson- ot would be useful for users to be able to create their own lesson by lesson schedules based on a certain topic.
