You have to submit a word starting from the last letter of last submitted word. You can't play until another player submits a word.
From the top menu bar click on:
Games -> Shiritori
Right under the big "Add a word" button click on "How to play" for instructions.
the last letter of the word has to overlap with the first character of the next, ex: うし→しろ→ろか
Shiritori is a word-chain game, in which players must give a word starting with the last syllable of the word given by the previous player. Words can not be repeated, and players can not go twice in a row. Hope this is helpful.
