"Dark seeks light" by Yui Ninomiya, the opening theme to 世界最高の暗殺者、異世界貴族に転生する, seems like one of the better anime songs to me, especially if you are looking for something aggressive. Check out her other stuff, too.
Some upbeat songs I like are Night Dancer by imase, Love & Sweet by Celeina Ann, and Inferno by Mrs.Green Apple. Another anime song I like is Kawaranai Mono :)
You can't go wrong with Jojo's Bizarre Adventure songs. If you like "Anime type" songs you should definitely listen to YOASOBI or her solo name Lilas Ikuta (She is the singer in the Yoasobi duo). Other than that I would recommend Fuji Kaze too or old school songs such as Fly-day Chinatown, Plastic Love, Stay with me etc.
I listen to a ton of Japanese music. Sadly, most of what I listen to is EDM and underground house or hardcore and that doesn't have many lyrics, or even lyrics in Japanese for that matter. Since I assume you're here to learn Japanese, here are some artists I recommend for some good tunes:

Okay I listen to tons of Japanese music my tops are probably
1) BURNOUT SYNDROMES they do Haikyu!! Intro songs FLY HIGH!! and ヒカリアレ (hikariare)
2) OFFICIAL HIGE DANDISM they do Spy x Family intro song ミックスナッツ (Mixed Nuts) and also Cry Baby from Tokyo Revengers
3) Linked Horizons they do a lot of Attack on Titan intros and outros (including Shinso Wo Sasageyo!)
4) Eve which does Kaikai Kitan from Jujutsu Kaisen and also 僕らの from BNHA season six (bokurano)
5) Vaundy which does CHAINSAW BLOOD from Chainsaw Man and 裸の勇者 from Ranking of Kings (hadaka no yuusha)
There are literally so many more I haven't mentioned like Nobuhiko Okamoto (he's an independent artist and also Bakugo's voice actor from BNHA), Yoh kamiyama (he does YELLOW), ALI (LOST IN PARADISE), MAN WITH A MISSION (Merry-go-Round), YUI (Again), GRANRODEO (Don't Worry, Be Happy, among many BSD songs), SCREENmode (Reason Living), etc... I'm a huge fan of any Japanese music 😅 hope you find something you like!
the peggies is definitely my favorite group, I would say they're J-rock. All of their music is amazing but a few of my favorite songs are LOVE TRIP 2019, 足跡, and tokimeki symphony
Listen to little by little by Kanashimi wo Yasashisani. Or is it the other way around?? Lol, but its cool. Or do the same thing but with Naruto instead of kanashimi wo yasashisani.
4) for fans of j-rock: there are several videos of this guy playing literal Japanese rock anthems where you can find new songs by listening to their best parts
I'm looking for good songs besides demon slayer, miku and eurobeat. plus Hall of fame.
