Hello! I am learning japanese and something I realize that I struggle with other than reading pace, is how I pronounce らりるれろ. I also speak french, so because of that I end up pronouncing "ra ri ru re ro" as "hrra hrri hru hrre hro" which sounds kind of yucky lol. If anyone who had a similar issue could give some tips I would greatly appreciate it ^_^

The Japanese R is often described as half R and half L. If you practice saying la li lu le lo with a light tap of the tongue on the hard palate, that should help.

Dont know if this helps or not, but try to move your tongue like you would when making L sound or maybe D sound. Essencially cup your tongue to the roof.

Next, try to pull back the tongue tip and just ever so briefly have it touch the roof of your mouth up behind the gums while trying to sound a Ra instead of a La.

I am not qualified in phonetic mouth feels but I hope I helped more than I harmed! (^_^;)

Whenever I come across an R, I tend to just make a D sound rather than adventure ruling my R's. Just a soft D.

I don't know whether this will work for you or not but try making the English r sound before putting 'e' 'i' etc Good luck!!
