I was experimenting with some Japanese style watercolor and this is what I ended up with (my はんこ failed horribly -_-)

Inspiration struck at work again. Drew a "た'カオ'つぼ"

that's amazing! You should enter it for the kao coin contest

There is a Kao Coin Contest? I did not realise! I will look into this!

I'll be mentioning this formally later, but do keep in mind that in order to combat AI submissions (ugh), all contest submissions will require two files: the final kao coin image, as well as an unfinished copy of the work (around 40-70% finished) - this should make it much harder to submit AI entries, but relatively easy for people who are actually doing it.

Should we also aim to sign our pictures with our usernames / nicknames? I already use a hanko watermark to prevent art theft, but standard signatures can add an extra layer of validity to a piece.

For the contest, I'd prefer not to have it because within renshuu, the coins are already attributed to the artist, so any kind or marking will get in the way of the coin itself.

If you have access to a computer, you could apply steganography to imprint your details into the image itself. Or maybe hide a signature along the lines as a texture.

I also just realized that "Coin" might be reffering to the gacha machine coins.... and not an actual coin...

Suppose i still have a background to make... Working in layers tho, would this also quality to validity? (For those wondering, my program of choice is "Tayasui Sketches" which last i checked does have a very decent free version on the playstore)

Felt compelled to draw either an axe, acorn or fox.... So i compromised. Majority of the colouring were made with the airspray tool.

(feeling self-conscious but... i wanna draw and share )

The past two days have been misserably hot! We are talking 12 degrees hotter than the third day ago! I do better in the cold soooo i feel like:

A fox is laying dazed by the heat on a desert hill. A big blazing sun is gazing down in glee.

I kinda miss unprotected blackboards.... The eternal struggle of "ownership" between the students wanting to express themselves in an area with no easy access loose papers... but tge art kid brought their own coloured chalk!!!
