ない かな / ない かしら 
1. I wonder if/suppose A; I fear that A
Used when there is not a high level of confidence about the statement. かしら is used more by females.
                    
I suppose that it's been ten years since I last saw her.

The example sentence is るの instead of らない like the grammar explained , can dictionary form + のかな work the same as ないかな? or is it just a typo? Thank you

While it does work, it'd be a better fit in the ない form for this grammar :)
