Unfortunately I don't have much time to study japanese but I fortunately manage to study every day even if it's just a little. I'm also trying to study french but school is taking so much time that I don't always manage to study french intensively even for a short time. Sometimes I spend up to 12 hours with school a day (homework and studying included) so I have very little time to do what I want. As you might know I also play piano and I have to practice that every day too. But then I also like drawing but I BARELY FIND ANY TIME FOR IT AASHGGHHGGG
I also play piano, but I’m almost completely self taught, so I’m able to play whatever I want rather than a teacher telling me what to learn. It’s a lot more fun that way. But unfortunately I don’t have much time other than for Japanese outside of sports and school:(
I usually am able to fit in at least 30 mins of practice so I don’t forget my songs. Thats the other thing, I can read sheet music, but I usually just memorize all my songs so that I can play them even if I don’t have the sheet music.
I’ve considered learning French, because my cousins learning it and that would make it so much easier to find a study partner, because like, he’s already learning it, but I js found Japanese more appealing, and I’ve had a good time learning it.
On school days I usually have 2-4 hours time to practice piano and for free time and on weekends 5 hours and if I'm lucky even 6 or 7 hours so I think somehow I can manage to do everything. Maybe it will also be useful if I use better learning and homework strategies for school stuff so I don't spend too much time with it
It's sounds terrible but yeah I'm the same way But I am very bad at actually using my time well. Also I am busy doing stuff sometimes and even though I have lots of free time in between, when it's free time I can't remember any of the things I could be doing. I know it's sounds really dumb but it's actually super frustrating

I am afraid that someday when I get a job and stuff I will not be functional and I won't ever do anything if I stay like I am now I am too old for this
And I definitely get that fear of being functioning, I don't know if I want to go to college yet but you need a degree to get a job here but I don't want debt or anything like that so it's pretty stressful
