Indeed, it should be, "I am faster than my younger brother." I submitted a correction.
P.S. don't forget the が when writing の方が
弟より僕のほうが足が速い -> I am faster than my brother.
弟のほうが僕より足が速い -> My younger brother is faster than I am.
