Go to the dictionary, and for any kanji they have mnemonics listed underneath
e.g. for 食 you will see something like:
To add your own click on the "add mnemonics" button underneath the mnemonics, and the "How to use" button on the pop up for instructions
For words, check the user notes on the word (by clicking view user notes underneath the entry), and mnemonics (if they have been added) will be listed there
e.g. 食べる has a mnemonic listed for it
