Since I installed the android app I started getting this same error message systematically whenever I start the Renshuu Android App.

It shows up as soon as I open the app, 90% of the time it goes away and renshuu loads correctly after a couple seconds. The other 10% of the time it gets stuck there and I need to manually kill the app and try opening it again.
That's ...crazy - I've never seen that. Have you tried long pressing on the app, go to more info > storage and cache, then clear out all the stuff in there and try logging in again?

Upon investigation I think I can confidently say that bug has nothing to do with the renshuu app but actually everything to do with my phone setup. I have a custom launcher and the bug happens exclusively when I start renshuu through that launcher. When I go through the default "Apps" menu I don't get this error message at all. So I have a feeling it's entirely a me-problem and not renshuu's fault. The launcher is probably the thing that's bugged.
So I think you can set this thread as "resolved". Sorry for the inconvenience :(
