What books, classes and videos do you guys recommend to start learning japanese? I have seen so many material on the internet but i got lost on which one is better to stick with.
I've mostly been relying on Renshuu lately, but here's ones I've used/liked using:
Resources I'm interested in/will delve into when I have more time:
To start I recommend working with a native language instructor if you can possibly find one, preferably in person. There are so many things you need to learn all at once to get started that an experienced guide can really make a difference.
If you want something that follows a systemic, but gentle approach, I'd suggest the Japanese From Zero videos. They follow the "Japanese From Zero" text books, but you don't need those books to follow the videos.
The material is presented gradually, with loads of repetition and examples, which avoids overwhelming learners with too much too quickly.
For grammar I like to watch videos by Gemu Gengo on youtube. He takes time to explain it well and uses many real examples from video game dialogue.
