The only way I can find to add kanji to a list or schedule is through the dictionary- is there a way to directly add kanji used in words that are in a schedule you're going over?
(That sounds confusing, so for example, 今日 is in a schedule- is there a way to add the kanji 日 to a list simply by clicking a button or two within the schedule?)
Also, if there's another way to add kanji to lists besides the dictionary, I'd love to know
If you're adding them one as a time as they come up in words, that's what the kanji helper schedules are designed to.do automatically, but they're currently an experimental feature so there may be bugs. If you would rather do it manually, just click the kanji in the word, and use the + button on the kanji entry in the dictionary when it pops up.
If you want to do it on a whole set of words at once, you can go into any word list or the materials of any schedule and choose Export. You will get a text file of all the words that you can then just copy into a kanji list; the dialogue will ignore anything that's not kanji, so you can just copy-paste the whole vocab list as-is.
