In settings-motivators-achievement system to use, it says that, "If you've used the Hankos before, a link will appear at the bottom of the Kao Garden page for easy access."
I have been specifically working on my hankos recently, so it would be really convenient to be able to link to them from the garden page instead of changing my settings back and forth every day. (I want to check progress on my hankos, but I also want to access my garden.) But I don't see a link for hankos on the garden page.
Was this feature only available to people who were using hankos before the Kao garden was created? Or am I overlooking the link? Or is my account buggy?
Thanks!
Seems to me that if you switch from garden to hankos and back, you should get the link. Maybe that’s an oversight?
There’s also a widget you can add to your dashboard that will show you the next several hanko goals to accomplish. That might save you some switching.
Yeah, I was hoping that by switching between the two enough, the link might appear at some point. But no. Which is why I started thinking it might only be for people who were working with hankos before Kao garden came. But maybe mine is just buggy
I did put the widget on my dashboard, though. Thanks for reminding me it was there! I had completely forgotten about it. At least it shows me a few I'm closest to having level up.
Without looking at the code, I think it's only for those with accounts back when the hanko system was the main one - I'd like to keep it fairly hidden, as the hankos get no updates for anything new (new conjugation schedules, for example).
If that’s what you want, then you shouldn’t expose the option to use it to new users. The current situation is confusing people.
That's what I thought. That's fine, I can just switch back and forth in settings. Please don't remove the hanko motivator altogether though, it's been motivating me to be active in renshuu in more ways than I have been previously, and I'm having a lot of fun with it.
