Hi,
first of all thanks so much for this extremely かわいい app with seemingly endless possibilities!
I'm again trying to discover Renshuu. Except for learning grammar and more vocabulary, I'm especially looking for a way to use it in order to practice reading sentences with Kanji I already learnt on Wanikani until now for reinforcement and to get used to reading more sentences.
About this last point, I'd like to have a few sentences a day (for example in context of learning new vocabs/grammar) that would also show some of the Kanji I learnt, rather than starting with graded readers immediately, because I'm bad at organizing my very limited time I have for studying.
Is this possible with Renshuu?
I read about mastery and study vectors, but unfortunately I don't really understand how I should do the import from Wanikani.
I selected transfer mastery levels and also to mark as "I know this". But it seems this doesn't have any effect on the schedules I added.
For example, just to try out the effect this has on Renshuu, after importing known Kanji from Wanikani like mentioned above (transfer mastery/mark as "I know this"), I added Pre-Intermediate Kanji to my schedules. But when starting to study this, it still wants to teach me Kanji I already know (and again I can select "I know this").
Could someone please tell me how I should import from Wanikani in a way that Renshuu doesn't try to teach them as "new", but still might quiz me on them?
Thank you very much :)
Renshuu has a tool for importing your WaniKani data. Look in your settings under Import.

Thanks for your answer, but the how was part of my question..

I’m sorry I misunderstood your question. I don’t have any experience with the import tool myself, but if it’s not working as expected, Michael may be able to fix it. However, I expect he will need more to work with than the details you’ve posted so far.
"I know this" is useful for materials that you want the system to mark as known, but you do not plan on studying on renshuu. Think of like this "I already know the JLPT N5/N4 kanji, no need to study them, but I don't want renshuu pretending like they are unknown and showing the furigana for them."
What you're looking for specifically are the mastery level imports - Mastery does not mean "I'm done with this, and I do not need to study", but is a sliding scale of how well you know something (and how often it should be review).
So if you are doing the transfer mastery and it's not working, send me a DM with a few specific examples (I have studied the kanji x,y, and z, but they are appearing as unstudied in renshuu), and I have no doubt that I'll be able to get it knocked out.
Thank you so much for answering so quickly and for offering to help even personally! I didn't expect this!
I just reset my account and I'll try again with your explanations in mind, thank you :)
I've been working with Maxnomaki via DM, and it should now be fixed :)
