xDD im kidding Row. Anyway I noticed now there is a "Forum Posting Rules", and I'm not 100% on this, but I wonder if this sort of thing is a no-go now? I was using it to practice Japanese aside from that i dont really use the forum on here ;;

I'm pretty sure the Japanese talking area is meant for that, I mean the main function is practicing. Michael just doesn't want people talking about personal stuff which I don't think anyone was doing in this thread

I think that the biggest issue was in the Anything Goes forums kao_sorry.png I use this one to practice using Japanese in practical conversation, and I don't think there's anything wrong with it kao_think.png

ah ok かった^^;

Edit:still though even for this I'd recommend moving to Discord since that's more suited for this anyway. (Not to be a party pooper but like, even for this kind of chat its easier maintenance for Michael if its moved to discord, and I'm always up for making Michael's job easier)

if you use SNS i'd recommend that too and finding japanese accounts to follow and connect with on there, thats what i do and it helps a lot for learning quicker anyway (you'll learn how they *actually* talk instead of sounding like a textbook - just...try to be discerning about whats formal and whats not haha), if you get stuck you can always throw it in a translator (or better yet, use the renshuu dictionary for words you dont know - it regularly rescues me lol)
