I think I can activate it myself but id rather wait until renshuu unlocks it for me, dont want to rush ahead and all 😂, heres my stats so far in case that helps
Renshuu will never unlock anything for you. You choose what you want to study and when, there is no automatic path you're railroaded onto with the system deciding when you're ready.
It's up to you how early you start studying kanji. Most learners find studying kanji very difficult without a solid base of vocabulary to use as context first, and it works better for them to wait a while and introduce them slowly. There are a lot of kanji to acquire though, so if you're interested in them and don't think it would overwhelm you, getting a head start will save you some effort later on.
