This here, the small っ. It bugs me that I can't participate in anything on the site that requires typing, because I can't figure out how to type this without going to wikipedia and copying it.

If you have 日本語 keyboard with romaji input configured (I assume it is romaji as you do not see っ on your keyset), most often it is enough to type the sign 'x' and then type the romaji 'tsu'. So typing it as: xtsu will make it into っ instead of つ.
This works for all other kanas that have a small version btw: example with typing 'i' and 'xi': イィ
Alternative way and faster one in my opinion is to double type the geminated kana, so example for magazine - type zasshi to have: ざっし, example for school - type gakkou, to have: がっこう, etc.
Hope this helps
Hey, thanks for your answer, but it doesn't fix my problem.
I don't want to type in Japanese. I want to use renshuu. I am on a normal laptop and the search box in the dictionary and in shiritori automatically converts my typing into kana. But I can't figure out what I have to type to get the small tsu. I already figured out that a - gives you the longer vowel symbol.
Oh, in this case the methods I described will work as well with Renshuu and its automatic Kana mapping.
The method is exactly the same - please type 'gakkou' or alternatively 'gaxtsukou' and press search - Renshuu should transform it for you to: がっこう.
So you can either:
#1 type 'xtsu'
#2 double type the consonant from the kana that should follow the small つ, so typing 'kko' will result in: っこ
Example on my app account:
If there is anything else that u don’t know how to type, everything is explained here
Go to the help (? Button) and there is a tab that says “typing in Japanese” clicking on it will give you all of the ways you can write different things

Hope this helped
Hey, yes, it actually did. Because now I understand why I didn't find the help entry before. I did scroll through the list, but in my version it's not called "Typing in Japanese", it's called "Writing in Japanese" and that made me think it's some explanation about the Japanese writing.
