Hi guys, I am intented to take renshuu pro, can anyone give me advantages and disadvantages ( I don't think there are, but its okay to be safe right? )
Michael and Saki have maintained Renshuu so well that the basic version itself seems quite polished. So, there aren't any disadvantages when it comes to the pro subscription. So, I will only list the advantages that I've experienced:
More question vectors/types, including listening vector that helps a lot when you don't have access to native speakers and sentence quizzing for vocabulary quizzes that help you to observe the word in context and thus helping to establish the nuances, if any.
Private crosswords.
Pro-specific Kao garden items.
More fonts/visual items.
I'm sure there are more features (- I'll refer to the pro subscription page) to the pro subscription, but I'm not using them much. That's my 2 cents.
In summary, it's well worth it. If you're tight on budget, I'd suggest you wait for the discount-sale prices around Easter and Christmas. Thanks.
What is renshuu donations? It says that about something of 5% of donation...does It mean the money it obtains by renshuu pro will be given to donations?
It's worth it for the addictive "Complete the Vocab" onyomi kanji quizzes (which has become, since I discovered it, my favourite thing to do on Renshuu.)
Welcome to renshuu pro! There is a ton packed into your pro membership that should not only make your studying more effective, but more interesting! After all, it's hard to keep up with studying without variety in how you study.
While the various renshuu pro features are scattered throughout renshuu, the overall pro settings as well as information on your subscription is available under 'support renshuu' > 'renshuu pro' in the main menu..

Okay, so in renshuu pro you can do endless counter punch, salmon island in quick draw, a bunch of cool fonts, more customization on quizes, as many friend shiritori rounds as you want, you can have graphs in your stats, you can do whatever crossword puzzles you want, umm, I think that might be all. Maybe.
