Okay, i thought i was done with weird japanese shenanigans like the half width kanas (アイエウオ) but WHAT IS THIS?! —> ㍉
Unfortunately for me, unlike half width kanas, there are no information about this whatsoever other than the fact that it's apparently a unicode? Some people say it's like an emote, others say it's like the japanese equivalent of ™...
I'm not too sure anymore...please help
They're shorthand for measurements, like writing "mm" instead of "millimetre" in English.
㍉ ミリ milli(metre, gram, etc.)
㌔ キロ kilo(metre, gram, etc.)

Omg i've just noticed that
Thank you for clarifying!!
quick question:
do ミリ and キロ have actual measurements that are pure japanese or like not loanwords?
ミリ and キロ refer to metric measurements. Japan has been using the metric system for over 100 years.
