For anyone at a higher level in learning Japanese...
After you learn the letters or reach the stage of learning vocabulary, do you need a book to learn vocabulary from or any method, or does renshuu teach us vocabulary?
Renshuu teaches vocabulary. After you learn the alphabets, you can either take the renshuu-recommended schedule path that teaches basic vocabulary and grammar together, or you can check out Community Lists in the menu and search for vocabulary lists other users have made based on any theme or resource you like, or you can make your own lists to study with.
Renshuu offers one-stop shopping for all your Japanese learning. You can study vocabulary, kanji, sentences and grammar patterns, all using the same spaced-repetition-system to help you optimize your reviews. If the word you want to learn is not already in the dictionary (unlikely, the dictionary is huge), you can create your own definition.
they have vocab schedules you can add to ur dashboard which is very convenient to me since this is my only learning tool rn
Renshuu has a built-in dictionary, so every word you can possibly think of Renshuu has them.
Idk why I can't quote but @ リンク・リンク that is tbh not true I used a real word(not a slang or abbreviation(I forgot what it was)) in shiritori but it said "only words from the dictionary can be used"(or something like that)so for vocab it's not that reliable but for sentences, grammar and kanji it's useful(I recommend downloading a actually dictionary(takoboto for me))

Renshuu uses the same dictionary data as pretty much every other J-E dictionary website and app; they're all based on JMDict, so whatever terms are missing on Renshuu will probably also be missing from other dictionaries. You aren't really gaining anything by downloading an additional dictionary app unless you need it for a specific feature, like offline use or personal names.
No dictionary can be 100% complete, but there are hundreds of thousands of entries in Renshuu's dictionary and the chances of it missing terms learners will need to know before they reach an advanced level is very low. If you do find a word you need is missing, you can suggest it to JMDict directly and any changes to JMDict will filter down to Renshuu when the dictionary updates.
