I have 65% correct answers all time but last week I had 100% accuracy. My grades for this app are going down does anyone have any tips for me to try? Also after I work in this app I go to my personal notebook and write hira/kana sometines. Is it that I'm working to hard? Or am I not working hard enough? How can I fix my problem?

I also work on it with AI to help me with sentence structure I know は is for between nouns/topic I think and です is used for saying something politely and ですか I'm pretty sure mean to ask something politely.

If you look up "hiragana Tofugu" or "katakana Tofugu" online you'll find articles with mnemonics tricks to remember the reading of every character. It might be useful for you.

Large language models are fine for some things but for others they can be very dangerous. Giving explanations is one of those things. It will generate incorrect information around 15% of the time, and since you aren't familiar with the topic it's explaining (if you were, you wouldn't need to ask it anything), you won't be able to tell when it's generating correct information and when it's generating false things, so you could very easily be tricked and learn wrong things. Language models are made to write human-like texts, so that's what they're good at. They aren't good at providing accurate information about things, because they simply don't know what is or isn't correct, they're just machines generating words one after the other.

If AI told you that は is "for between nouns," then that's very much incorrect. A lot of particles can go between nouns, including は, but there's no rule that says you can only place は between nouns. In fact, は only cares about the word before it, not the word after it.

In short, I recommend you check out the Tofugu articles and stick to verified, accurate sources, like renshuu's own lessons, textbooks, etcetera, instead of text generators.

The best way for me to learn kana personally was to make my own mnemonic for each one! It’s really fun to make up your own little story. That, and reviewing the same 5 kana over and over until I understand, then move onto the next batch, then do a mega quiz with all the kana and focus in on the ones you are struggling withkao_yoroshiku.png For example, “ka”か looks like a sword ka-tting and ぴ looks like a happy baby bird going “pi”! This has also helped me learn various Kanji. って!

Also, don’t worry too much about your grade here. I’ve made plenty of mistakes, it’s a big part of learning, if you focus on the accuracy of your grade then your study will suffer from it. Have a look at what you are struggling at and do some quizzes. It’s a marathon, so please chip away at it!

Write some basic words you found interesting for at least each kana you're currently learning. And you don't need to recall how to write them. Just look at the words in a dictionary and write each day. It's more "interesting" for your brain, especially if you like the word, and just because of that, it can help a bit. Plus, you can work on multiple kana at the same time. You can also try to less if you have only 65% correct answers. Usually, it's because you're learning too fast. SRS works the best when it's "slightly" too easy. Because the goal is to make you remember just before you forgot the kana, word or kanji. And it start to not work as well, you're learning too much or can't keep the pace anymore.

"Is it that I'm working to hard? Or am I not working hard enough?"
No idea, for some people, it's quick, for other, it's not. Some people are also slower when they start and faster later (and vice versa). Some people also use advises that don't work for them even they work for most people. Just try and find what works for you =p

And don't worry too much. It's not abnormal but you can try some adjustement to speed up the process if you want. But that's not necessary, it's also just take time :3
