Maybe I'm crazy, but I could swear that the Grammar for Japanese Basics schedule used to only allow me to do the next lesson once I'd gone far enough in Words for Japanese Basics (there were always a few words I didn't know included in sentence questions, but not many). Then at some point I could suddenly proceed whenever, and there were a LOT of words I hadn't seen yet, which I still didn't mind too much because obviously there are translations... but then I got to the verb suffixes, where the questions are all asking me which version of the word with the suffix is correct, when I've never even seen the base word (and the Japanese version of the base word isn't given as far as I can tell). So I've been essentially avoiding grammar for a while now, since I still haven't come across hardly any verbs in my learning. If the grammar schedule was synced somehow, how do I resync it, or was it never synced at all and I just had a weird setting on that I accidentally changed or something? Sorry if I'm completely misunderstanding this or missing something obvious.
It’s quite possible that if you are far enough behind in our vocab schedule (which is possible - it is not forced progression on the vocab end), you can be learning, for example, new grammar while the currently appearing new vocab is a few lessons back.
