This morning, a short while ago, when I opened up Renshuu for the first time today a message popped up whether I wanted to save my garden. I just instinctively clicked yes. Then I noticed afterwards that everything had disappeared from the garden except for four items and the animals. Is there a way of reinstating the garden how it looked yesterday with one or two clicks, or do I have to start from scratch again? It appears the garden items have been placed under the My Stuff tab, assumedly all of them but I'm not sure. I have previously occasionally clicked on the pink download icon to save the garden, but am not sure from where any old saved garden can be retrieved.

The pink download icon simply saves an image of your garden. You can check to see if you have any saved Garden Layouts ("My garden" tab), but as far as I know there isn't anything else you can do on your end.

Very unlikely, apart from when you spend your coins, they shouldn't interact at all. Daily quest completion status triggering something like that would be quite the bug. Could be some sort of sync issue or session mix-up, who knows.

Right now, the only option is to wait for Michael to check the logs. I mean, at least you didn't lose anything :)

P.S. You can try saving your layout every now and then. It says it's an experimental feature, but it might help if this ever happens again.

OK. The main important thing with this app is of course learning Japanese and not the Garden! At least the knowledge accumulated so far in my brain didn't get cleared at the same time as my garden got wiped! LOL. But it's amazing how this Garden can be a motivational tool to collect just a few more coins/points to purchase something in the garden store!

As mentioned in your P. S., I just found this other area, where, besides the pink download icon we discussed, my garden layout apparently can be saved at intervals and reinstated later on, if requested. Too late for me this time around, but definitely something to remember for the future. For anyone who might be interested, I've included screenshot (including the current empty layout I just saved by giving it a layout name: "250827 after disappeared items" ).

Yeah, that's the feature I was taking about 😁

It's not all bad, you can use this as an opportunity to remodel your garden :)

That also happened to me...luckily I saved a preset. But it only happened once, so that's why I didn't do anything about it. kao_lazy.png
