OMG STAWWWP! (I actually play DnD because my uncle leads compains for a living)
what a cool uncle! How is D&D on the table but K-Pop Demon Hunters isn't tho? my dad grew up around the time and the city D&D first started up so I got into it cos of him I run a campaign myself and it's super fun a K-Pop Demon Hunters one though would be so fun I have a set of metal dice with purple and green and music notes that I think would go really well for a demon hunter character
Ooooo yeah that would be cool Hawk!
(My dad is very anti- anything to do with "demons or monsters" so I'm still confused about why I'm allowed to play DnD but not watch a harmless movie about Kpop. Not trying to talk bad about my parents just saying, my household is so confusing sometimes )
I have so many friends that grew up like that I feel for you at least you get D&D though many of my friends weren't even allowed to say the word "magic" or have anything to do with it (but would also be allowed to read the nastiest romance novels for some reason) some people's standards are wack fr hang in there
My mom was like that but the other way around like usually she didn't care about anime or magic-y stuff but like she absolutely had some thing against Harry Potter for some reason, and a few other random things. She also would talk about how her mom let her read It at 12 or something and how bad of an idea it was, but she never checked what I read either? Like she just assumed she knew what it was aboutI read Tom Sawyer when I was like 6
Also like a few weeks ago she watched kpdh with her internet friends I'm low-key annoyed
Luckily my parents are first generation Christians and already liked a lot of stuff (like magic D&D British telly etc) so they were fine letting me read/watch stuff it did make it difficult though because most of my friends weren't allowed to watch like anything I liked
